I have personally known and worked with Riad for the past ten years. Working with Riad has always been a delight, myself and my crew members find him to be very knowledgeable, courteous, and dedicated to moving the job forward without compromising on quality. Riad’s problems solving techniques are very unique. Above all, Riad is of great integrity, represents his clients best interest without taking advantage of subcontractors. Riad never asked me to send guys if the path was not wide opened for them to perform tasks as required, or increase Man-power unless absolutely necessary. Throughout the years, I have gotten accustomed to Riad’s extremely efficient management style and have been able to sharpen my pencil on all his subsequent projects. Riad is hard working, dedicated and extremely fair to all parties involved. I wish more construction professionals adhered to similar standards.

Genadi Rabinovich – CEO of Geckon Carpentry Llc.

Working with Riad is a blessing! Riad is a man of his word, and has never compromised productivity. He is a leader in the true sense. Extremely respectful, demand the highest level of quality and production, his mere presence is a huge motivation. Riad has a unique ability to cut through the red tape and accomplish the task at hand, sometimes under deadlines which seem to be very doubtful at first. Every time Riad receives special pricing, because I Know his projects are ran extremely efficient, and my guys will be “in and out”. Payments are processed in a timely fashion as well, which has kept our relationship going strong to this day.

Lefkeris Gamberis – CEO of KLG Roofing Llc.

I come from a family of Electricians in Sicily, as an emigrant my family managed to get by on smaller scale projects here and there. We were always constrained by the idea that our European way of working was an impediment, and that landing a large project in NYC would mean the world for us. We met many professionals, and supplied many proposals, none would give us a chance or go as far as to return our numerous phone calls. Riad was the only person to look over the language barrier and realize our true potential; He engaged us to take over a high-end condo in downtown Manhattan from another Electrical company, and then a very prominent and complex project on the upper west side. We were able to pass all inspections with flying colors on the first trial under his guidance. Riad’s simplistic approach to most encountered problems kept us motivated towards the end goal. We are committed to answering the call and going the extra mile for whatever situations might arise on any of his future projects.

I represented the financial institution which provided funding for a twelvestory new  construction project located at 362 west 125street and known as 11 Hancock place.  The Project design featured a prominent Six story cantilever and was recognized within  an ENR publication as one of the top ten interesting structures.

I performed the initial  construction risk assessment as well  as monthly inspections and progress reports for funding recommendations throughout the entire construction phase.
Riad and Rony were my points of contact during my site visits. Riad was in the forefront of  all my inspections and provided me with adequate and accurate answers whenever  questions arose.  During the term of the project, I raised concerns over the windows installation progress.  Riad reassured me and presented me with a plan of action that would allow

the workers to catch up with the schedule despite the pandemic.

During my inspections and while getting to know Riad, It was apparent that Riad is a true
leader as most executives and key onsite field personnel were turning to him for direction  and advice.  I believe that Riad’s dedication, knowledge, interpersonal skills, and commitment, were the driving forces that brought the project to completion.
I am currently monitoring another project for a different developer, where the progress had

been delayed beyond typical parameters.  Upon Riad taking over this project, he was able to remedy the deficiencies, and secure a full TCO within three months of his involvement.

I recommend, Mr. Riad Aafouallah, to look after any developer’s interest. his knowledge,  efficiency, ability to foresee problems and cut through the red tape, make him a true asset  to any organization.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Best,

I met Mr. Riad Aafouallah while working on the ground up high-rise project located at 165 Chrystie Street in NYC.

I was the officially assigned Site Safety Manager by NYC department of Buildings and as such responsible for all Safety related matters. I have gotten to work very closely with Mr. Aafouallah, and witnessed first-hand his capabilities, and problem-solving abilities. Mr. Aafouallah was split between two projects and handled all aspects of construction, from interfacing with design professionals, subcontractors, inspection agencies and City officials.

I found Mr. Aafouallah to be extremely efficient at solving construction related matters, a dependable leader, and was successful at fostering a healthy work environment. Under, Riad’s guidance we were able to bring the project to fruition, under extremely restrictive parameters.

165 Chrystie project, consists of a high-end residential Condominiums in the SoHo part of Manhattan. The project faced multiple challenges, that were thankfully met with Mr. Aafouallah’s experience, and interpersonal skills. There is no doubt in my mind, that without Mr. Aafouallah’s involvement, the structure, as it stands, would not have seen the day of light.

Towards the end of 165 Chrystie project, Mr. Aafouallah solicited my services at 362 West 125th street Project. The uptown project reflected a myriad of structural designs, a Hybrid aluminum façade, and a six story cantilever over a two story structure. Under Mr. Aafouallah’s guidance, we were able to work during the Pandemic shutdown, and managed to pass all inspections and obtain Certificate of Occupancy. Again, I do believe that without Riad’s continued dedication, impeccable problem-solving capabilities the project would have been dangerously delayed.

I have had the pleasure of completing two major projects working along side Mr. Aafouallah, and I welcome the opportunity of working alongside him in the future.  Please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have.

Sincerely,

To whom it may concern,

Hayes Construction was engaged by DMG investment as Construction Manager as Advisor for the Air Buffalo Project. This project valued at $16 million and was a renovation of and existing hotel structure into a student housing project that included an addition.

DMG was responsible to provide Hayes an owner representatives/project manager that would work with Hayes Construction to represent the owner and provide direction. Due to the complexity and schedule demands two project managers and one project executive resigned from DMG during the project. Riad Aafouallah was brought in as the 3rd
owner representative/project manager at a point when the project grossly behind schedule

Riad and the project management team from Hayes collaborated and within the first couple of weeks turned this project around. Riad provided the direction and management that was needed to successfully complete this project. Riad’s attention to detail and understanding the critical path activities that are required on a project of this size and complexity was instrumental to the success of the Air Buffalo Project. He gave us the direction that was needed and worked with all the subcontractor, suppliers and design team to move this project forward.

Riad’s management style of reviewing all option, understanding the pros and cons with each and every decision was a blessing to our staff and all involved in the project. Riad is a man of his word and still values the importance of a handshake, something that seems to be disappearing in our industry today.

It was a privilege to work with Riad. I would be happy to answer any question you may have about his ability or performance, please feel free to call me.

Best Regards

JBH
